I qualified as a teacher in 2011 and from there specialised in the EYFS. I wanted to create my own nursery setting where I could lead by example in getting children ‘school ready’. I believe that preparing children for school is something that needs to be embedded from a young age with emphasis placed on the 3 prime areas of learning. My passion is to ensure that when children leave The Little Bears they will be confident and prepared for their next chapter. I want children to have a love for learning and to be inspired to follow their dreams.
I have worked with Children since 2001. In this time, I have worked in a range of settings including being a busy mum of two lively boys.
I’m very proud to be part of the Little Bears team looking after your amazing children.
The best thing I enjoy about my job is seeing all the children, play, achieve and grow into happy individuals.
I began working with children in 2016 where I completed work experience alongside children of different ages in a range of early years settings. From this, I then went onto achieve my level 3 qualification. I have always had a passion for working with children and helping to support them with their individual needs and watching them grow.
I am a Level 3 qualified nursery practitioner (N.N.E.B). I have 31 years of childcare experience ranging from nannying, nursery practitioner and a foundation stage teaching assistant. I am also a mum of two teenagers. I love art and crafts, the messier the better!
I’m Georgia Childs a Level 3 qualified practitioner and I have a great passion in all aspects of childcare. I have had experience working with children since 2010 and qualified with my Level 3 in 2012. I have worked with children aged 3 months to 15 years which has involved supporting children’s needs, equality and safeguarding. I love working with the younger children, I love to lead singing sessions as I know how important this is in promoting the early stages of their language development. I am calm and patient and love supporting children with their learning. In my spare time I enjoy dancing and baking, as well as spending time with my family including my young nieces and nephews.
I have worked in the Early Years sector since 2004, starting in a nursery setting moving to an infant school then a primary school. I have been based in a Foundation Stage class, primarily working 1:1 supporting children with special needs. I have really enjoyed being part of each child’s individual learning journey and been proud of all their achievements. One of my strengths I am told is my creativity, give me some bits and bobs, glue and a large pot of glitter, add excited children and I am in my element.
My passion is to encourage and nurture your child’s imagination and creativity and make Little Bears a happy fun place for them to grow.
I have worked within the Early Years sector for 18 years. My passion is getting children to be independent and confident in their own abilities. When I was younger I played netball at a very high standard and enjoyed all sports. Having our own hall at The Little Bears Nursery allows me to pass on my enthusiasm and equip children with the vital physical skills they need. My other strength is teaching children phonics correctly, so this is embedded ready for their journey at school.
I have worked with children since 2009. I have worked within school based setting, ranging from EYFS to Year 2. Whilst working at the school I qualified as a level 2& 3 teaching assistant and went on to achieve my higher level teaching assistant qualification. I am very proud to be part of The Little Bears Nursery team and enjoy watching children learn and become more independent. I have two grown up children and I love to watch live music and I’m a keen knitter.
