The creator of The Little Bears Nursery has been a qualified teacher since 2011 and has specialised in the Early Years.
We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where every Little Bear feels safe, happy, valued and inspired to learn. We believe that children learn best through play, exploration and meaningful experiences, which is why our nursery has been thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, encourage independence and nurture a lifelong love of learning. From our spacious, stimulating rooms and outdoor spaces to our dedicated smaller rooms, every area of Little Bears offers something special. Our caring and dedicated team takes the time to truly get to know each child, celebrating their individuality and supporting them to grow and develop at their own pace. We believe in building strong relationships with our families and creating a real sense of belonging, where children feel confident. At Little Bears, we’re more than just a nursery – we’re a little family, where every child is encouraged to shine, every achievement is celebrated and every day brings fun and a new adventure! 🐻❤️
I have been really impressed with the everyday organisation
and the skills my child has picked up ready for school. You also put
high importance on developing confidence in small/ large groups.
Staff go the extra mile: from singing and sharing birthday cakes, making birthday cards for family members and including children in all events even if it is not their normal day.
The use of Tapestry really helps us to have an insight into what goes on behind closed doors as well as preparing the children for what is coming up.
The staff are all very friendly and we have
been made to feel very welcome.

I love the light and airy space so refreshing to many nurseries I’d visited. It’s so well thought out. Mrs Walter was very professional and so enthusiastic about early years. I was made to feel really comfortable leaving my girls. They have settled in really well and go in very happy. I’m so pleased I picked little bears!
Mrs Walter has been fantastic and is extremely lovely and the ladies that work there are very welcoming and ever so friendly. The whole atmosphere and the way it is set out inside and out is outstanding and I know my little girl will thrive in every way possible.
I am so glad I chose The Little Bears Nursery for my boys. They are learning new things all the time and excited about what they are learning. The Staff are all lovely and I can leave my boys there feeling they are safe and well cared for with experienced staff.

The facilities are incredible, the main room is one of the largest I visited and to have a separate dinning room, quiet room and then the large hall next door meant there is always so much to do. I never feel like he is just stuck in a room.
One of our main goals is to have your child school ready by the end of their time at The Little Bears Nursery.
With the nursery manager being a fully qualified teacher of the early years foundation stage to lead the way.

I qualified as a teacher in 2011 and from there specialised in the EYFS. I wanted to create my own nursery setting where I could lead by example in getting children ‘school ready’. I believe that preparing children for school is something that needs to be embedded from a young age with emphasis placed on the 3 prime areas of learning. My passion is to ensure that when children leave The Little Bears they will be confident and prepared for their next chapter. I want children to have a love for learning and to be inspired to follow their dreams.
